We look forward to the 2018 Queensland AOA ASM to be held from Thursday evening 7th June to Sunday 10th June 2018 at the Sofitel, Noosa.
The meeting will open with a dinner welcoming our guest speakers and celebrating our final year trainee’s transition to fellowship. Friday morning will start early with a packed all-day bone school programme for our trainees. For consultants all four AOA 21 modules will be provided. The afternoon free paper session is open to trainees and non-trainees to present their scientific research projects. In the evening the OWL champagne soiree by the pool will lead into the Friday Night Feast at the Noosa Sheraton.
There will be an early morning Bone School session Saturday and Sunday mornings followed by concurrent scientific sessions with the focus on arthroplasty. Saturday afternoon, look forward to Gary Nielsen’s Hot Issue Session which will tackle the issue of advertising in Orthopaedics with an engaging line up of interstate and local speakers. Following the AOA AGM, the Conference Dinner Saturday night will be held at Bistro C on beautiful Noosa Main Beach.
