Alison Taylor is President of the Australian Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and also the Chair of the AOA Victorian Branch
She practises exclusively in adult foot and ankle surgery. Her initial training was through the Victorian Orthopaedic Training Program. She subsequently travelled to the U.S.A for further training, the majority of which was in Cincinnati specialising in reconstructive surgery of the Foot and Ankle.
Her practice is in the east of Melbourne where she holds appointments at Knox Private Hospital and is the Head of the Orthopaedic Unit at Maroondah Hospital. Alison is also Deputy Director of Clinical Orthopaedics across Eastern Health Network.
She has served on the Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society Committee as secretary for 10 years and during that time has served on the AHWI committee Exploring Solutions to better meet the Demand for Foot and Ankle Surgical Services.
